Meet the growing network of partners and supporters of NCPA

Musculoskeletal Research Centre Nijmegen (Nijmegen MRC)
MRC Nijmegen is a partnership between the HAN University of Applied Science (Centre for Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation), UMC St Radboud (IQ healthcare) and St. Maartenskliniek in Nijmegen (RD & E department). The partners are complementary in terms of research, education and patient care. Research questions arise from the cluster musculoskeletal physiotherapy, currently consisting of professional sports physiotherapy (NVFS), Manual Therapy (NVMT) and orofacial physiotherapy (NVOF). For all parties, the trias: research, teaching and patient care is very important. By joining forces, the consortium will ensure that research contributes to optimizing patient care and education and a center for students, the field, teachers and PhD students. Together with the field and grant providers, we are an academic workshop, which focuses on sustainable cooperation and sustainable funding. www.mrcnijmegen.nl

School of Sports and Nutrition
Studying at the School of Sports and Nutrition means studying in an active, enthusiastic and informal yet challenging environment, with three bachelor degree programs to choose from: Physical Education, Sports Management & Business and Nutrition & Dietetics. Everywhere you look in and around the School, you’ll see students practicing choreographies, training in the gyms, cooking, and discussing their projects. Around the world, it has become common to consider sports, nutrition and management in relation to each other, approaching this relationship from a variety of perspectives. The School of Sports and Nutrition is on the front line of this development, but also constantly looking ahead to new emerging trends in the professional field – for example, by setting up an interdisciplinary, international minor in Health and Active Lifestyle. The School of Sports and Nutrition is part of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA), Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
